Seattle Summer Maximum Temperature

If the “climate emergency” was real, one would expect the maximum temperatures to be increasing.

This article examines the official NOAA climate data accessible through the Cornell CLIMOD2 data tools (http://climod2.nrcc.cornell.edu/ )

When you put “Seattle” into the Station Search on the climod2, the map shown below presents all available stations in the area. Different stations have different available histories. The urban stations have very limited data since urban are not used in terms of climate data due to urban heat unrelated to climate. For example the two stations closest to the Seattle “bulls eye” on the map are both called “Seattle Urban Site” and only have data from 1972-1998. The Tacoma station is called “Tacoma No. 1” and only has data since 1982. The “Seattle Boeing Field” station has data from 1948 – 1964 but then none until 1998. (None of those show warming in their limited amount of data).

The graphs below show all of the stations on the map that have long-term data. Each graph shows the Highest Maximum Temperature for the summer months June through August for the station. Each graph shows the complete record of data for the station and thus each has a different start year.

Why do the people of Seattle believe in this thing that does not exist in the actual scientific data?
